Former President of BP Chemicals Americas, Mr. Singh worked for British Petroleum (BP) in the upstream OPEC oil directorate and in the company’s Chemical divisions in London and New York. He was appointed president of BP Chemicals Americas in 1987. In 1990, he joined the Harris Chemical Group (NY), a management buyout company backed by private equity, primarily Chase Capital. He was a founding member of the US Salt/Verdugt Group in 1997, where he was responsible for acquisition and development of chemical-related businesses in Europe and the United States. Mr. Singh holds a B.A. in Business from Thames Valley University (London) and is a Chartered Certified Accountant (U.K.).
