19 Dec Atlas Advisors advised MobileXpense on the sale of a majority stake to Fortino Capital
Brussels, Belgium – December 19th, 2017 – Fortino Capital announced that they have reached an agreement to acquire a majority stake in MobileXpense through an investment of 20 million euros. MobileXpense is a Brussels-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company specialized in travel and expense management.
MobileXpense was created in 2000 by Xavier Deleval and Patrick Billiet. The company has offices in Germany, the Netherlands, Romania and Canada in addition to Belgium. Fortino’s investment will enable the company to further expand internationally and grow in the middle to large customer segment.
Fortino Capital is a Brussels-based investment company, co-founded by Duco Sickinghe, Renaat Berckmoes and Baudouin Jolly, which focuses on private equity and venture capital. Combining strong management backgrounds, extensive global networks and leading success in innovation, Fortino Capital supports the management of its portfolio companies from a strategic, operational and commercial perspective. The firm focuses on the technology and digital sector notably on SaaS and e-commerce companies.
Atlas Advisors acted as the exclusive financial advisor to MobileXpense in relation to the transaction.
